In 2015, MapQuest approached Mapbox to reboot their mobile and desktop base maps, and I worked as the project's lead designer. This project was highly collaborative and required coordinating with both the internal Mapbox data team building the custom TomTom-based data source and the MapQuest design team to ensure the final product met their particular cartographic needs and seamlessly fit within their broader re-branding effort.
